CNN: Credibility in the Toilet

November 11th, 2008  | Author: distorted   | Tags: , ,

I have included a lovely video clip from the CNN website to demonstrate just how little credibility they now have. Do enjoy the video, and my subsequent anger.

First of all, this lady is clearly a bitch. It’s just not necessary to call someone out because they said “good morning” instead of “good afternoon.” I’m sure it was a busy morning preparing for President-elect Obama’s visit, give her a break. Time probably got away from her and she simply misspoke. Should I sit here and bitch every time one of you journalists misspeaks? No.

Second, stop complaining that the meeting didn’t last very long. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want even a tiny bit of failed Bush policies rubbing off on Obama. The shorter the meeting the better, in my opinion.

And god forbid someone should show up early to something. What does that say about their character, being punctual?

Furthermore, fuck you. So President Bush danced around to entertain himself in the disrespectful absence of Senator McCain. He, like us, is a person, and he shouldn’t be criticized for doing a personish thing.

Your point about the awkwardness between the two based on Obama’s attacks on the administration, while true, just isn’t clever. Every other pundit was talking about this, you bringing it up is just blatant intellectual theft. Have an original fucking thought or two.

And yes, President Bush and Senator McCain; Obama is measuring the drapes, was always favored to measure the drapes, and has the right to measure the goddamn drapes as he beat McCain handily.

Just what the fuck is with the one scene where we have to see your stupid face? And why the hell does the camera keep turning sideways and zooming in and out? It looks like your segment was filmed by a third grader, and therefore it cannot be taken seriously. And you call yourself a professional.

The reporter that is heard saying “yes he did,” when President Bush says that Bill Clinton “didn’t have to do this,” is a fucking bitch. President Bush was just trying to be gracious as he met with the outgoing President, and you don’t need to be that much of a bitch. She should be barred from the White House indefinitely for that snide, bitchy comment.

And once again, this insufferable bitch calls out Joe Scarborough for mistakenly saying “fuck” on live television. It’s not that big of a fucking deal. Watch FX after 8 PM and you’ll get as many F-bombs as your heart desires. Stop calling people out for misspeaking, especially as a TV news reporter yourself. That whole karma thing is going to bite you in the ass.

Finally, stop being a racist. It’s not funny to talk about the OJ Simpson high speed chase just because Obama is black. Sure, you’ll argue that you’d say the same thing, given the same footage, if the President-elect were white, but I doubt it. That’s what we call subconscious racism. Perhaps you should see a guy to get that evaluated. God knows that being medicated might not be the worst thing for you.

CNN needs to get this cow off the air before they lose any more credibility. Unbelievable.

Well I gotta say I agree with this post, that segment was completely NOT NEWS. I rather be hearing something interesting, heck the way this girl is going I am going to hear a report of Obama bathroom break. I can see it now “President Elect TOO MUCH BATHROOM” like really your “News” network is acting like a Paparazzi network. OH and FUCK!
