10 Things That Are Insignificant, Yet Very Annoying

Some things annoy me far more than they should. Proportionally, I mean. Some things really aren’t a big deal, but yet annoy me more than things that actually affect me, in the case of the following 10 things that are insignificant, yet very annoying.

1. Those who use the word “your” in place of “you’re,” and vice versa. They’re not hard to use, so use them right.

2. People who think it’s acceptable to drive 5 MPH under the speed limit while there’s someone behind them.

3. Cyclists who ride their bikes in crowded areas and narrowly miss colliding with me head-on due to an inability to steer properly.

4. “That guy.” You know: the young one with short spiked hair who drives a vehicle with dark tinted windows and has a Volcom and/or DC Shoe Company sticker on his back window.

5. Listening to people with completely opposite ideologies discussing politics.

6. Having two insanely difficult midterms on one day. And for that matter, the use of the word midterm to describe an exam. As far as I’m concerned, a midterm only happens in the exact middle of a term. Not every exam in a course is called a midterm, like some people seem to think.

7. Sarah Palin.

8. News reports on swine flu, the economy, and Miley Cyrus.

9. People who walk around campus, holding up cardboard signs offering free hugs.

10. The fact that everyone is way too worried about what everyone else is doing “wrong,” when in reality they need to be paying attention to the bad things they’re doing, such as making assumptions, in this case.

Yea, discussing politics with someone stubborn is WAY hard. I always tell myself not to bother but sometimes it’s just too annoying hearing someone say something clearly biased…
LOL I’m totally with you on Swine flu and the economy. The fuss over swine flu was way too much, and I get the feeling that effort should have been put into helping inform the people who are seriously at risk! You know? lol, and you’d think the ‘economic cycle’ wasn’t a continuous thing that’s been for who knows how long…

omg I think I just accidentally hid some of my own comment by using greater than or less than signs. won’t do it again. Just wanted to say I make no comments on Miley, cos… well, enough people do, don’t really need to xD and none on midterms, because… I’m pretty sure it’s an American word
